Split-Screen Folklore: Reimagining "The White Snake" through Human-AI Co-Creation

Situated at the intersection of ancient ink-wash aesthetics and generative algorithms, this project reimagines the classic folklore The Legend of the White Snake through a human-AI co-creative lens. By synthesizing the Western cinematic technique of split-screen narratives with the spatial logic of traditional Chinese scroll paintings, we explore the profound dualities of identity, fate, and transformation.

This work moves beyond mere visual reproduction, serving as a deep exploration of cultural authenticity—where human intuition ensures emotional resonance and heritage, while machine logic expands the boundaries of storytelling, ultimately constructing a fluid, multi-layered paradigm for digital narrative.
